ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Ron, an artistic woodturner and cabinetmaker, turns out beautifully crafted bowls, thin-walled vessels, lamps, kaleidoscopes, Victorian Christmas ornaments and whatever else may catch his fancy. Every turning is a one-of-a-kind object. In bowl turning, the rim design is what distinguishes his bowls from other turners. Not satisfied with a simple turning, Ron goes on to turn or add creative detail not seen in many other artists’ work.
