Terry works in a variety of media, including pastel, watercolour, acrylic on mylar, ink, encaustic, and photography, and finds inspiration for her visual art in the natural world.
While artists continue to produce work during Covid-19, methods of displaying and selling their work have been significantly impacted. After much discussion, the Walter’s Falls Group of Artists have decided to continue with an online presentation of work in 2021, in the hopes that we will be back with a live Show in 2022. New work will be loaded onto the site as of October 11, 2021. We invite you to browse the artists’ pages, and direct your inquiries to the artists themselves via the contact information provided. We do hope all of our patrons are weathering these difficult times well, and will take the time to “drop in” and visit.
IN MEMORIUM: The Walter’s Falls Group of Artists are saddened by the death of one of the group’s founders, the sculptor and artist John Miecznikowski. While John has not exhibited with the Group in some time, he is remembered with fondness and respect. The Walter’s Falls Group of Artists also continue to mourn another long-time colleague and friend, Michael Milhausen, who passed away in Nova Scotia on March 1, 2021. Michael was an original member of the WFGA, and worked for many years as the group’s marketing volunteer. His cheeriness, enthusiasm and energy brightened many WFGA meetings and shows – so many of our patrons will recall encountering his welcoming smile as they entered the Community Centre to attend shows. Michael’s dear wife Jennifer (also active in the WFGA in the area of hospitality) passed away less than a year ago, and they will both be remembered fondly by their wide range of friends and family in Grey County and beyond.
